# PB-Runner > PB-Runner is a running-coach app for iPhone, Apple Watch, Android and Garmin, made by Bunker 47 LTD (England and Wales, company 09169480). It records runs natively with the full depth the watch can capture, and connects your running history to the AI you already use, Claude, ChatGPT or OpenClaw, which can read your training and write sessions straight to your watch with live audio and haptic guidance. It works with Claude's free plan, so an AI running coach costs nothing to try. Key facts: - Two-way AI coaching: your AI reads your runs AND writes your next session to your wrist. Most tools only read. - Native recording: standalone Apple Watch recording with running form metrics (power, ground contact time, vertical oscillation, stride length), plus iPhone-only and Android recording. - Garmin: PB-Runner's own Connect IQ watch app plays a scheduled session rep by rep on a Garmin and sends the run back with its route, kilometre splits and per-rep detail. - Recovery-aware: resting heart rate, HRV and sleep inform the coaching. - Works with the free Claude plan via an MCP connector; also Claude paid plans and ChatGPT (Plus and above). - Data substrate is Apple HealthKit, not the Strava API, so runs recorded by any watch app can flow in. - Free on the App Store, Google Play and the Connect IQ Store. - Official race app of the BME Crosby Run (10K and 5K), Crosby Coastal Park, Liverpool, Saturday 22 August 2026. ## Pages - [Home](https://pb-runner.com/): what PB-Runner is - [Getting started](https://pb-runner.com/guide): the one-stop setup page, in four chapters: connect your AI (from a free Claude account to a training plan on your watch), get Apple Watch and iPhone runs syncing through Apple Health, bring in runs already recorded with Strava, Garmin or another app, and set up a Garmin watch with the Connect IQ app and the CSV history import - [Garmin watch manual](https://pb-runner.com/guide/garmin-watch): how the PB-Runner watch app works on a Garmin from start to finish, which buttons to press (named by position, because Garmin labels them differently on different watches), what the buzzes mean, how to end a run, how the run gets back to PB-Runner, and what to do when the watch shows a message - [ChatGPT connector guide](https://pb-runner.com/guide/chatgpt): how to connect ChatGPT (Plus plans and above) to your PB-Runner running data, six steps in the ChatGPT desktop app: Settings, Plugins, Add MCP server, name it PB-Runner with the Streamable HTTP transport and the https://mcp.pb-runner.com/mcp link, then Authenticate with the same account as the app - [OpenClaw connector guide](https://pb-runner.com/guide/openclaw): how to connect an OpenClaw agent to your PB-Runner running data, by asking the agent in chat or with the openclaw mcp add and login commands, using the streamable-http transport and OAuth with the https://mcp.pb-runner.com/mcp link, then signing in with the same account as the app; plus staying connected, and ideas to run on a schedule - [How it works](https://pb-runner.com/how-it-works): the reference detail behind the home page, the coaching loop, the training corpus your AI reads, the living athlete profile, the recovery picture, Garmin, and every metric PB-Runner keeps - [About](https://pb-runner.com/about): the company and the app - [Support and FAQ](https://pb-runner.com/support): how syncing, guided runs, training plans and races work - [Race organisers](https://pb-runner.com/race): race pages, race-day alerts and finisher results for partnered races ## Downloads - [App Store (iPhone and Apple Watch)](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6769277536) - [Google Play (Android)](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bunker47.pbrunner) - [Connect IQ Store (Garmin watch app)](https://apps.garmin.com/apps/36345af4-1210-4b9f-9ffd-2c82ba0ed875)
